What a long week.
These aren't the best photos but it was about 6am Thursday morning. It was a strong storm but no tornadoes. It was and is a bit of a shock that the truck is smashed up. I can't help but think what people in Joplin are going through. We are stressed out about a truck. Can't imagine losing everything we owned. So sad.
That said, it is a pain in the rear to only have one car. I'm going to have to rearrange a bunch of appointments and such. I know...wah.
In knitting news...I'm working on a baby boy's hat. Not sure which baby boy. But I'm sure it will find a home.
In homeschooling news...we are nearly done with some things and no where near done in others! History is taking a long time. I don't think we will give up. A little every day will get us done.
In Girl Scouting news...we are having a camp out at our house next week. We were going to go to a camp ground but I was getting no response from the parents so I nixed it. I took them camping by myself last time. NEVER again. Too much on one adult.
In health news...Emma has hurt her arm and it still hurts a week later. Of course it hurts worse while I have no car to take her to the doctor/there is a holiday weekend. We shall take her on Tuesday. My poison ivy is driving me nuts. I'm ready to be poison ivy free!

So sorry about the truck. We're having horrible weather up here, too, including tornadoes and that's something that NEVER happened when I was a kid. We had to hit the basement not too long ago but lucked out.
My grandmother predicted this back in the early 70s. She blamed it on the astronauts. She used to say, "Every time we sent somebody up into outer space, the weather gets weird. We're all gonna die."
Glad you all are alright!
Wow...can't believe the truck!
I love the stuff your girls say. They are beautifully odd and wonderfully unique. You must be doing something right. :)
