Where the kids have gone and come home from camp...


We are back in the swing of summer.  It has rained enough for two summers.  Today it was much warmer and humid.  But I did get some outside time in the morning.  I'm reading Steven Tyler's memoir.  It is out there.  But then what else would you expect?  Emma's reading something I can't remember.  Bella is into arts and crafts.  The dog and the cat love to be on the front porch with us.  
Lou got the lawn mowed today.  Remember the rain I talked about?  He was going to mow on Saturday but got all caught up in working on cleaning inside and out my Jeep.  I wasn't sad about that.  But it meant waiting til Sunday afternoon for the lawn.  Sunday dawns with loads and loads of rain.  And the rain continued all afternoon.  Boo.  So he came home this afternoon and mowed.  


We went to our life group with members of our church last night.  Good food and amusing conversation.
