Did I mention that we went to the drive in last week?  We saw Cars 2 which I thought was much better than the first one.  It was the girls' first time to go to the drive in and my first time in years.

Yesterday, we went with my friend Cherri to see some looms that had been abandoned at a rental belonging to her dad's friend.  He wasn't sure what he had and wanted to have us come look at them.  There were 5 looms!  What the heck?  We had a good time trying to piece them together and figure out what went with what since they were all in pieces.  Three were complete.  One was mostly in tact and the last one was missing a bunch of stuff.

Today I watched my friend's four children while they went to court to try to save their house from foreclosure.  They had been approved for the HAMP and then the mortgage company "lost" their paper work.  Then they got re-approved and just as quickly foreclosure proceedings started.  They got it continued to next month.  Hopefully it will all get sorted out and they can keep their home.

I'm not sure what we are doing for the weekend.  Sounds like we will be with Lou's family most of the weekend.

There is a drive in about 25 minutes from us. I should take the kids to see Cars 2. They've never been to a drive-in, and I haven't been since I was a kid. I can remember when the drive-in was all we had, and we were so excited when a one-screen cinema was built in our little town. Now it's exciting to think of going to a drive-in!

We saw Cars 2 also and I was disappointed. It's so funny how everyone views things differently. The boys loved and as it was made for kids I can't be too critical, I just loved the message and sweetness of the first one. I'm a sappy ole' mom though. :)

So...what are they going to do with those looms? That is crazy! Do you still have yours? I wish I had a basement so set one up...would love to play! :)
