We celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary on Friday. It was pretty low key. We left the girls at home while we had dinner at Red Lobster. Nice evening.
Saturday I took Emma to church to go on the Middle School trip to Beach Bend Park. She had a blast. Rode the Kentucky Rumbler three times! I'm glad she went and spread her wings a bit! Bella had a friend come over. Let's just say that I'm not overly enthused about having her back again. She didn't like a single thing we had to eat and she didn't want to do a single thing that Bella suggested. It was not a fun afternoon. Poor Bella.
Sunday after church my very hard working husband tackled the lawn. Emma had worked on the front yard but it needed help. He spent about 5 hours mowing and cutting back the overgrowth around the shed. Poor guy. I wish I could help more.
The next family survey question: Who was the oldest person you can remember in your family as a child? What do you remember about them? I am sure that Great grandpa Hunter was the oldest. He was very deaf at the time. I don't remember talking to him much but I remember him sitting in a rocking chair while the rest of us socialized and ate.
